Horizon Helicopters Ltd – Management Team and Contractors

At start, the management team of Horizon Helicopters Ltd (HHL) will consist of seven individuals, five of whom are currently working on development of the Horizon Helicopters business. Details and CVs of those people are available on request.

The Autocopter will be designed and developed by Horizon Helicopters and a team of 10 subcontractors, all of whom are either acknowledged experts or world class businesses in their field, e.g. Cosworth for the gas turbine and Ricardo PLC for the main rotor gearbox. Details of the 10 companies are available on request.

The Autocopter’s current state of development is Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 3. This is a recognised way within the aerospace industry of judging where a project has got to and how far it has to go before the aircraft (or engine etc.) can be sold. TRLs go from 1 to 10. The Autocopter has therefore already gone through 2 levels from Concept Design to Concept Validation. It is now at the point where significant funds have to be raised to take it further.

HHL is a UK private limited company, currently owned in its entirety by Ron Stewart. His shareholding will be diluted as new investors are brought in and share options are offered to members of the workforce.
